Friends

This pic was taking a few months ago of me and one of my best friends, Alexis! I miss her so much and we hope to catch up again in person one day soon. She lives just an hour away from my sister so I'm sure there'll be times I can go by to see her. I can hardly wait when we have our JMU renunion! It'd be Alexis, Christinia, Zak, and myself part-tee-ing at her new place!!! yay!!!! (ha-ha...not partying too hard though!) Thank-God for GREAT and WONDERFUL FRIENDS who comes into your lives and encourage you! I LOVE YOU GIRL!

Reality Check

This evening, my Dad and I went to the viewing of our family friend who died on Wednesday night. We saw a lot of people there at the church, including friends who also knew Mrs. Searson. I got the detail of what had happened to Mrs. Searson. She had been doing very well from the surgery and the morning when she died she was "doing great" per the doctor. She suddenly went into renal failure, her BP dropped, and her breathing was labored. Drs did all they could, but God's timing was to take Mrs. Searson. I rejoice over the fact that she is with her Lord and Saviour as well as with her dear husband who passed away in 2004. The Next Two Years?

  For all of us, this past year has looked differently than the other years we’ve had. The uninvited ugly virus barged into our lives and caused havoc.   Many of us had to adjust to new schedules and routines, things had to be canceled or rearranged, and the term/phrase “emergency procedures” took on a whole different meaning.    Yet through it all, God remained (and still is) faithful to His children; He never forgot us, nor did he leave us in anyway, although at times it seemed so. My Desire

It's a New Year.  Every new year, we hear of new resolutions.   How often do people stick to the resolutions I have no clue.  I rarely make any resolutions due to the fact that I know I probably would be upset if I don't stick to them.   I have made a few over the years that relates to health issues such as stop drinking soda and eating 2-3 fruit/yogurt a day, which I have achieved and continue to the past 2 years.   Most of you who are on Facebook, noticed that on New Years, Facebook asked the question "what is your New Year's resolution?".    As said before I rarely think about this.   But it struck me this year.   This past year, as some of you know, has been an extremely rough year for me.   First I looked at my 2012 calendar and realized that every single month  had 1-3 doctor appointments written down on it.   It was either at UVA or AHC; it was a doctor's visit or ...
