He Will Rejoice Over You..........

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your Gid is in your midst; a might one who will save:
He will rejoice over you with gladness;
He will quiet you by His Love;
He will exult over you with loud singing.

Song from the Reawakening music CD from Community Worship; Written by Scott Wesley Brown and David Hampton:

He Will Rejoice Over You

The Lord our God,
Is with you.
He is mighty to save;
The Lord will take,
Great Delight in you;
He will quiet you with His Love

He will Rejoice over you,
He will Rejoice over you.
If you could only hear His voice,
You will hear the Lord rejoice;
Rejoicing over you,
Rejoicing over you,
Rejoicing over you,
With singing.

Today's sermon by Pastor Ken, cut my soul; It ministered to me. All of his sermon's blesses me; but today's sermon really ministered to me. He preached on Zeph 3:17. He focused on how much we need to trust in Jesus and that He's in control of everything. He controls things such as your health, your disability, your trials--EVERYTHING. I have in the past several weeks been growing restless and weary about things going on in my life from my health problems to my problems at work. I have not allowed myself to be quieted by God's love for me. I was so engrossed in my own self pity that I have forgotten that all things happen for a reason and for a purpose. Today's sermon was a great reminder for me to quiet my heart, and let God take care of things. I need to quiet my heart through totally relying on him and trusting him that He will provide for me and that everything in my life happens for a reason. God delights in his children when we trust in Him and lean on Him for everything. He will save us from the trials we go through. All we need to do is trust Him, focus on Him, and most importantly, be quieted by His love and really believe that God never leaves us or forsakes us!

Just some thoughts.
