...............Which way to the nearest university?

That has been the question I have been presenting to myself for the past few months. I love to learn and would love to learn more to enhance my credentials for my job. I love my job and each day I work, I learn new things and new ways to tackle issues. One of those issues is dealing with clients with behavioral issues. We meet at least twice a month with our behavioral psychologist to come up with plans in order to best serve the clients with "issues". It's fun to hear of new ways, get trained, or even share your own thoughts and ideas and have the behaviorist agree with those ideas.

After graduating from JMU, I continued with some grad courses there just to further my education and knowledge. Two of those courses focused on Emotional/Behavioral Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. Not to exalt myself, but I excelled in those courses to the point that my professor even used my papers and "plans" for his future classes. This was so encouraging to me that since then I've been interested in ABA. Jobs that open up in this field are need, espcially in schools, CSBs, etc; the credentials behind the name, bears much education and will open job opportuities in various areas.

So, with that said, I've been looking into schools where I can get accredited to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyisist. The prerequisit is at least a BA or BS in Psychology, which I have! I'm looking into online classes and courses. Unfortnately, there aren't any school in VA, so I'm looking outside VA.

Please be in prayer for me as I seek God's guidance in this matter. I love to learn and would love to continue with education.
