A JOYFUL NOISE

This is a week late, but I thought I'd share this photo of my older niece starting her first Easter Egg Hunt (I tried to post a video but since my folks have dial up, that didn't work well!). Miranda LOVED her first Easter Egg Hunt and as you can see she LOVES Dora! Her eggs were Dora and Diego related and she had a blast finding her eggs that her dad "hid" around our yard. They were here for Easter weekend and it was fun to see her hunt for eggs. The visit was good with them as all visits were, but I noticed a bit of change in Miranda (pic above). She's 2 yrs old and 10 months---almost 3! How hard to believe; she's growing up way to fast and has a mind of her own. She is intuitive and inquisitive--in my opinion more so than she should be at her age! But I guess that's good. Have I told you how much I love my newest niece Caitlyn??? I LOVE BOTH of my nieces so much and they make me smile! They are both growing up so fast and so much!!! Thank God for wonderful nieces whom I can spoil endlessly!!!

This pic was taking a few months ago of me and one of my best friends, Alexis! I miss her so much and we hope to catch up again in person one day soon. She lives just an hour away from my sister so I'm sure there'll be times I can go by to see her. I can hardly wait when we have our JMU renunion! It'd be Alexis, Christinia, Zak, and myself part-tee-ing at her new place!!! yay!!!! (ha-ha...not partying too hard though!) Right now, we are in Richmond visiting my nieces. Caitlyn has grow so much and smiled at me! Miranda is getting better in not being so jealous and tells me how much she loves her little sister! This is a priceless picture: Caitlyn turned One Month old today! She rolled over already today! They both are growing too fast!!

My mom recently came back from Richmond to help my sister with the new baby. She also went to Costco with my brother in law while up there. Mom came home with this: I was shocked because growing up, my mom never really brought stuff like this, at least not in bulk. I can safely say that probably about 75% of the candy in our house while my sister and I were growing up were given to us my friends are families. So, now, my dad and I and mom are enjoying these Jelly Belly, which is by far the best jelly beans on earth! I'm not to crazy about some of the flavors but I do like the Lemon-Lime, butter popcorn, toasted marshmallow , and most other fruity flavors. You can tell we (mainly me) like it because since Monday, it's already about 1/5 gone! (Hey, I share with my peeps at work!) -------what's your favorite? Yes, I do have too much fun posting random pictures (and random posts)! Ha-ha

.................BUT BETTER! You are probably puzzled as to why I'm putting a picture up of this soda can; WHOLE FOODS 365 ALL NATURAL GINGER ALE. Well, I'll tell you why, and it may not be as crazy as you might think. Most of you know of my food allergies ; basically I have Celiac Disease (and dairy allergies) which means I can't/shouldn't eat things with gluten in them; my side/stomach hurts, it is VERY hard for me to digest it, and well.....you can prob figure it out from there what happens . I can handle very small amounts of gluten (like one small cookie or a quarter of a sandwich ), but either way I really need to stick to my food allergy diet, which I'm doing fairly well.
